Knowledge Master Team Finishes First in Tennessee!

Twenty-five of Harding's fifth and sixth grade students were invited to join the Knowledge Master Open team. The Knowledge Master Open is no mere trivia contest. One hundred challenging questions require higher-level thinking skills and cover thirteen curriculum areas. The competition is timed allowing one minute per question. Bonus points are awarded if the question is answered within the first 30 seconds. Winter competition was held January 20, where Harding finished 1st in Tennessee and 36th nationally. The team will now continue preparing for the Spring competition March 24.

Harding Academy Blood Drive

Sixty-six students, teachers and staff participated in the annual Blood Drive today. Forty-two were able to successfully donate pints of blood. This is an annual service project event of the senior class. Over 80 students signed up to give, but Lifeblood had to close up at 1 p.m. Parents, friends, students, teachers, and staff can still donate blood at any Lifeblood Center. Be sure to ask them to credit Harding Academy. We will receive a donation to the scholarship fund if we meet our quota of pints donated. Thanks for the overwhelming response to this worthwhile event.

Honored With National Accreditation

Harding Academy Early Childhood has achieved national accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Harding Academy Early Childhood is one of the earliest programs in the nation to achieve reaccreditation under new, more extensive and more stringent NAEYC standards, which were released in the fall of 2006. ...more

Harding Announces Plans For Esprit de Corps 2010

Announcing the Harding Academy Esprit de Corps 2010 - "Celebration in the Garden." Our theme is "Harding is Forever." We are excited to welcome back Dr. Ron Chacko '99 as our guest speaker and Mr. David Rubio '90 as our master of ceremonies.
